Solar farm developer and thin film panel manufacturer First Solar has completed a solar development in Ontario, Canada, creating the largest photovoltaic project in the world at 80 megawatts generated from 950 acres of land.

The Lakeshore Group was the lead land development and permit consultants for the Sarnia, Ontario project which contains 1.3 million solar modules and took 3 years to complete.

The project produces enough clean energy to power approximately 13,000 homes.
